Now an employee of a nearby chamber of commerce, I previously worked as a media aide in an elementary school library, and then for five years, I served as owner and operator of a busy cafe. I was reared in North Texas, spent six years in the hills of Tennessee and have resided in South Carolina for 15 years. DH and I have two grown sons, a contented dog, a cranky cat and a cockatiel that whistles "Dixie." I love mysteries--especially the cozy variety--but often venture into other genres. Reading is my solace.
